What is the difference between the Sims 3 and the Sims 3 Deluxe Package? Both are available at Wal-Mart



Also will the Sims 3 have expansion packs? I dislike expansion packs. I'd rather just buy the entire set in one package.What is the difference between the Sims 3 and the Sims 3 Deluxe Package?

There most likely will be expansion packs because when I was looking up a question on The Sims website, it said what is your question involved in, and a dropdown list had Sims 3 and Expansions as an option.

Also, the regular Sims 3 is available for $49.95, while the Collector's Edition is available for $69.95. Either way, I have the Sims 3 and love it! Sorry I wrote so much!
There will be a expanison pack coming out this month (November) It's called World Adventures. It ties China, Egypt, and France into the Sims 3.

There is no Sims 3 deluxe. If you mean collectors edition it comes with a few extra things. This includes Prima Tips and Tricks, downloaded car, and a plumbob.

If you mean the Sims 2 deluxe that has nightlife in it. The Sims 2 double deluxe has Nightlife and Celebration Stuff.

Well no one likes expansion packs, do they? It's just another way for EA to get as much money out of us as they can. Unfortunate, but hey, that's life.
The delux comes with a sim diamond memroy stick thing, a downloadable car and a help manual thing which is crap.. its not really worth buying the delux tbh.
I don't think there is a "The Sims 3 Deluxe" but there is a "Sims Double Deluxe" though.
