Sims!?!?!?!?!?

Whats the difference in a Sims game with the stories part then without it? Ex. Sims Castaway %26amp; then Sims Castaway Stories.

Also, I know Sims 3 is coming out in 2009, but does anyone know what Month and Day?

Well the sims 2 stories lets you play in story mode (you have more goals and things like that to do and in the sims 2 it is basicly open free play. You can do whatever you want. In the sims 2 stories however you can play in free play also. They are basicly the same thing but kinda not lol. However i think that you can't download any thing like custom content but in the sims 2 you can so thats all i know hope i helped out..Sims!?!?!?!?!?
The sims castaway is for game consoles (i think playstation 2) and the sims castaway stories is for pc and is laptop friendly. The sims stories series (life/pets/castaway) for pc is more goal oriented playing style for the sims 2, and is less taxing on the computer, but there is little custom content available for stories. And there is no actual date for release for the sims 3 but you can check out the website for specific info and sign up for VIP listSims!?!?!?!?!?
When you play sim stories you have to follow the story line for each family. I think sims without the stories are better.But the stories are less in $$$.
The Sims 2 Castaway is on Console, The Sims Castaway Stories is on PC,.
