I have looked for something like this and can never find it. I have found that playing the games like diner dash and flo on the go are pretty fun and are slightly similar for the fact that you have to take charge and do things for the people. Other then that you can try ebaumsworld.com,there a few cool games there that are similar to The Sims. Good luck and let me know if you ever do find anything!

Try Second Life; it's pretty much free - there are things to buy but you don't have to.Sims???????????????????
