hi, i know that the sims 2 double deluxe comes with the celebrations and the night out and dating... but i was wondering about the game itself. is it the same quality and stuff. is it the same as the regular sims 2? what is the difference besides the extra stuff. also, if i don't have any other sims games, will i be able to download it if i just get the sims 2? (Not double deluxe)

Sims 2 Double Deluxe includes the original game plus the Nightlife expansion pack and the Celebration! stuff pack.
The Sims 2 Store Edition appears to be the version of the original game wherein it is possible to access in-game furnishings, clothing, etc. that's been bought from EA. If you decide to buy items from the Sims 2 Store (AKA online) then you'll need this.
