How to play Sims 3 regular if I already downloaded an expansion?

I downloaded the regular Sims 3, then i downloaded the Late Night expansion pack, I'm a little bored of LN, so I wanna play the Sims 3 regularly again. So, every time I press the Sims 3 (not LN) start-up shortcut, it just goes to the Late Night. Is there any way I could just play sims 3 regular? Not that I know of. I think you have to uninstall LN in order to get rid of it fully. I don't like it all that much either! All of the sims in my neighborhood are turning into vampires!How to play Sims 3 regular if I already downloaded an expansion?
When you install LN, all the benefits become incorporated into regular Sims 3. The start-up will always look like the latest expansion pack whether you use the Sims 3 icon or the LN icon, they link to the same thing. If you want you could start a game in Sunset Valley, but you would still have hot tubs and celebrities.

Uninstall Late Night and you'll just have the base game features.

Make sure you save any sims in Bridgeport (if that's the town you're playing) that you want to keep and play later to the sim bin, as you'll lose the ability to play with the sims in that town once you've uninstalled Late Night! :)
No ,sorry. The only way you can play the game "regular" as you put it is to remove the expansion pack. The expansions expand on the game so you cant remove any features of them unless you remove the whole expansion.
