i am addicted to this game. i don't really recommend the collectors addition unless you're actually...collecting sims games. you can get a usb anywhere and i can't even get A car so there isn't really any use for that. and their music is pretty annoying. i don't need any freaking tips lol. just buy the game itself and play it.

The difference between The Sims 3 and The Sims 3 collectors edition is that the collectors edition has a download for an exotic car and a 2 GB USB Pumb bob (The diamond shaped things above the sims's head) Drive. And The Sims 3 has the disk only. I hoped I helped.

The Sims 3 Collector's Edition has a 2GB USB Drive that is shaped like the Sims Plumbob. On this there is the exclusive Sims 3 Main Theme Music, Backgrounds and Screensavers.



You also are given a exclusive downloadable car.



Other than that it is pretty much the same as the regular version.

So we compared



I got a 2GB thumb drive shaped like a sims crystal thing the green one



and i got a exclusive download for a car that the regular sims 3 cant have

The sims 3 collectors edition includes more details about the game. It gives you a map of the neighborhood, details about families already created on the game too. Plus sims 3 stickers.



The regular sims 3 only includes the manual with the disk.
On the Collectors edition, you get a 2GB Flash-drive in the shape of a plumb-bob, a free foreigne sports car download, and something else. Not really all that different from Just the base game. I wouldn't spend an extra 20$ for like 3 extra things.
the collector's edition is for collectors,its the sims 3 game with a USB 2 GB with the shape of the sims icon and car downloads and hint and cheat guide.while the normal is only the sims 3 game.The change in price is only $20......
The regular Sims 3 just comes with the game, $10 worth of simpoints, the instructions %26amp; key commands. The collectors' addition has a plumbob key chain, (stuff above ^), %26amp; an exclusive car download.
