What the difference between the sims 3 for phone and sims 3 for ds?

I would like to know what the difference is between the sims 3 for a cell phone and for ds before i buy it for one of my devices. Maybe such as in the ds version you can customize your sims house but you can't in the phone version.What the difference between the sims 3 for phone and sims 3 for ds?
Sims 3 on phones (iTouch, iPhone, etc.) is kind of like the original Sims. There are already pre-planned clothes and stuff but you can't customize it. The town in smaller and you can choose to barge in a house instead of doorbell. There are personalities such as "Jack of all trades" or "Sleaze", and you get to pick 5 traits out of a much smaller options box.
